The Montaudon family has been making sparkling wines in the Champagne region since 1891. The Montaudon house is located in Reims, but the grapes for their Champagne Brut come from the Côte des Bar, located in the south of Champagne. This wine is always made from 50% Pinot Noir, supplemented with 30% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier. The high percentage of blue grape varieties used results in a powerful and opulent style.
